Scandinavia has been kind to Finnplay in recent times

In October, Finnplay became one of the companies that were able to secure licence extension in Sweden.

Finnplay was able to cement its presence in the newly liberalised Swedish online gambling market over the summer through a partnership with Swedish gambling group Global Gaming.

https://luckyje.netlify.app/wow-terms-of-service-gambling.html. The partnership between the two major companies resulted in the successful launch of the NanoCasino online gambling brand in August.

In September, Global Gaming transferred its flagship NinjaCasino.se domain to Finnplay.

Of the move, Global Gaming chief executive office Tobias Fagerlund said that they did not want the Ninja Casino brand’s “enormous value’ and potential in Sweden to go to waste.

The Swedish gambling group had its licence revoked by the local gambling regulator in June over serious shortcomings in the company’s anti-money laundering and know-your-customer procedures.

Global Gaming appealed the revocation of its licence but was ordered to suspend its Swedish operations while the Swedish Gambling Authority’s decision was under review.

Several courts have sided with the regulator over the past six months, but Global Gaming has remained adamant that its operations were fully compliant and that it would keep seeking remedy for the wrong it has sustained.

Global Gaming returns to Sweden

Global Gaming has returned to Sweden after its local licence was revoked two months ago for deficiencies in its anti-money laundering and know your customer practices.

The company has been out of action for the past two months and announced last month that it struck a partnership with Scandinavian online gambling content and platform provider Finnplay. The first product of that partnership went live last week in Sweden, Casino News Daily reports.

The two companies launched NanoCasino.com to mark Global Gaming’s indirect return to the Swedish gambling market, which was reorganised early this year to make it possible for international companies to obtain licences from the local regulator and operate in a regulated environment.

Under the terms of the partnership between Global Gaming and Finnplay, NanoCasino is managed by a subsidiary of the gambling provider.

Viral Interactive Limited is the holder of a commercial online gaming licence from the Swedish Gambling Authority to operate the newly launched casino.

As the licence holder, Viral Interactive is fully responsible for the operation of the new brand.

A subsidiary of Global Gaming participates in the venture as its marketing partner.

Denmark Online Casino License

The gambling operator said today that as a marketing partner, its subsidiary is responsible for assisting the new online casino in matters of marketing, customer experience and brand management.

NanoCasino is powered by Finnplay’s gambling technology platform.

Aside from Sweden, the platform is also licenced or certified in a number of other markets, including the UK, Malta, Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary, Denmark, Estonia and Mexico.

Swedish gaming operator Mr Green acquires casino license in Denmark.

Denmark's gaming watchdog Spillemyndigheden has announced it has granted a gaming license to Swedish online gambling company Mr Green.

Founded in late 2007 and launched in 2008, Mr Green today operates in twelve countries around the globe, offering a wide variety of popular casino solutions, including live casino and online casino games.

Increasing Its Presence in Denmark

The company first entered the Danish market in April last year, after it purchased Dansk Underholdning for a consideration of $9.79 million. After the transaction was successfully completed, Mr Green also became the new owner of Dansk Underholdning operated gaming brands bingosjov.dk, bingoslottet.dk and balletbingo.dk.

After Mr Green received the license, the operator went live on December 28, 2017, which means punters in Denmark can already enjoy the company's extensive portfolio of high-quality releases.

Commenting on the latest move, Per Norman, Chief Executive Officer of Mr Green & Co AB, the parent company of the group, said the launch was an important step in the company's strategy to grow geographically. He emphasized the importance of the Danish market, which represented an important criterion for Mr Green when expanding to new geographies.

Always Wanting More

Licensed and regulated by the Malta Gaming Authority, and with the head office located in Sliema, Malta, Mr Green has more than 220 employees and holds gaming licenses in Italy, the United Kingdom and Malta, casino license in Denmark and sportsbook license in the Republic of Ireland, with $113.1 million in sales recorded last year.

Entering the Danish market is a part of a much larger offensive which started in December when Mr Green announced it had signed a deal to buy Evoke Gaming Limited, which is expected to be completed during the first three months of this year.

The year 2017 was very successful for the company, which saw the development of the new predictive gaming tool designed to revolutionize the online gambling sector, done in partnership with Sustainable Interaction and Sebastian Gassner, the expansion of its product range to include custom bingo and keno products, as well as the new sponsorship deal with Celtic FC.
